What's the process of a background check?

It's a simple question, with a complicated response.  Here's how we like to explain it.  

A background check begins with collecting some required information, authorizations, and disclosures.  The personal information collected varies but often is your Legal Name, SSN, D.O.B, Address. From there, it expands based on the background check "package".  A package is like a bundle, of separate, yet intertwined details that help us determine and find the results for backgrounds check. 

In addition to the basic PII information, some packages will require state licenses, copies of insurance, or potentially Education or Employment details.  

Together, the information is combined, scraped, cleaned, and adjudicated to deliver the results to your dashboard and the candidates Vetty Profile.
